Tesla is reportedly set to begin Optimus humanoid robot mass production next month, targeting 1,000 units per week in September and 2,500 per week by year-end. Reports also point to a dedicated Optimus factory in Austin planned for next year, with a long-term production capacity of up to 10 million robots annually.
If achieved, this would mark one of the fastest manufacturing scale-ups ever seen for a humanoid robot platform.
