A recent FSD demonstration showed a Tesla navigating heavy rain, passing a large truck to merge onto the highway before overtaking slower traffic on the expressway. The drive highlighted FSD’s ability to handle challenging weather and dynamic highway conditions, though drivers are still required to remain attentive and supervise the system.
Strong highway performance in adverse weather is an important step toward improving driver confidence in advanced driver-assistance systems.
