Ford will partner with Geely to co-produce EVs in Europe, using the Valencia plant’s 500,000-vehicle annual capacity. Ford will own 66% of the venture, with Geely holding 34%, as they prepare to launch a GEA-based electric crossover and a compact Bronco with multi-energy powertrains starting in 2027, with deliveries expected in 2028.

Sharing production and EV technology could help Ford reduce costs and compete more effectively in Europe’s increasingly competitive EV market.
