Denmark continues its rapid EV transition, with 97% of private car buyers choosing fully electric vehicles in July 2026. Battery-electric vehicles accounted for 11,672 of 14,562 new passenger car registrations (80.2%), and Mobility Denmark expects the country to surpass 1 million EVs on the road early next year.

At this point in Denmark, finding a gas station might soon feel harder than finding an EV charger.
