Tesla is preparing to begin fully autonomous Cybercab employee rides at Gigafactory Texas in a controlled factory-campus testing phase. The company shared footage of the gold Cybercab driving around the site and picking up employees with no steering wheel, pedals, or human driving controls.
Real-world employee rides could help Tesla gather operational experience as it develops Cybercab for larger-scale autonomous transportation.
