San Diego got absolutely hammered by rain, streets turned into rivers, and what does a Tesla Model 3 do?
It calmly drives through chest-deep floodwater like it’s heading to a beach picnic.
Nearby sedans and SUVs: stranded, half-submerged, owners on the phone with AAA crying. Tesla Model 3: “Water? Cute. Engaging hydro mode… oh wait, that’s not a thing. Anyway, proceeding.”
Viral footage shows the little white sedan gliding forward like it’s auditioning for a luxury yacht commercial while everyone else is playing submarine.
Comment section gold:
- “Bro turned his Model 3 into the world’s most expensive rubber duck”
- “Meanwhile my gas car drowned at 6 inches. RIP fuel pump”
- “Elon watching the clip: ‘See? We should’ve called it the Model Submarine’”
Local authorities: “Please do NOT drive through floodwaters, it’s dangerous, hidden debris, strong currents, etc.” Tesla owner in the video: “Hold my Supercharger cable, I’m basically Moses parting the Red Sea… but in a sedan.”
Moral of the story: When the world floods, some cars sink… others just keep driving like they paid extra for the amphibious package.
Who else wants their Tesla to get a “Flood Mode” badge after this?
