Ford just interviewed a bunch of people who ditched their gas-powered Fords for electric ones and the results are savage:
Every single one said: “We don’t miss gas cars… in the least bit.”
Their reasons:
- Instant torque that makes the old V8 feel like it’s on a coffee break
- So quiet they can finally hear their own bad singing in traffic
- Home charging = never visiting a gas station again (RIP to those $5 coffee upsells)
- “Maintenance? What’s that?”
- “My Mach-E literally feels like a video game cheat code”
- “The Lightning tows better than my old one and still lets me hear myself think”
One guy summed it up perfectly: “I used to love my gas F-150. Now I love my electric one more… and my wallet loves me back.”
Ford basically created a support group for ex-gas owners and everyone showed up wearing “I’m never going back” T-shirts.
Meanwhile gas-car loyalists reading this: “They’re just brainwashed by instant acceleration… right? …right?”
Sorry, combustion bros. The data is in: once you go electric, you don’t go back. You just quietly judge everyone still pumping gas like they’re living in 2005.
