Tesla Model Y Dominates China with 480,309 Units Sold

Tesla’s Model Y has had an incredible year in 2024, selling a total of 480,309 units—a 5.24% increase from 2023’s 456,394 units! Despite being one position behind the BYD Qin Plus sedan by the end of November 2024, Tesla had an impressive finish in December, selling 61,881 units. This marks the third highest monthly sales ever, following 69,098 units in November 2022 and 62,169 units in August 2022.

In December alone, Tesla China sold a remarkable 93,766 cars, achieving the third highest sales month ever for the company!
