Shanghai to Deploy 1,000 New EV Charging Robots for Spring Festival Rush

As the Spring Festival approaches, Shanghai is gearing up to handle the massive influx of travelers with upgraded infrastructure for new energy vehicles (NEVs). To alleviate parking and charging congestion, the city has introduced additional photovoltaic power generation facilities, intelligent battery swapping stations, and even charging robots!

These innovative solutions aim to ensure a smooth and worry-free travel experience for NEV owners during the festival. With 26 expressway service area charging stations and 144 charging piles, Shanghai is ready to support the expected increase in charging demand.
