Somewhere in China:
Drunk guy: “I’m too wasted to drive… but I’m not too wasted to outsmart the safety system.” attaches magical bypass gadget Car: “Cool story bro. Still calling the cops.”
Authorities: “We found this man passed out in the passenger seat while his car cruised on assisted-driving mode with no one at the wheel. He literally tricked the car into thinking he was sober enough to supervise. Spoiler: he wasn’t.”
Result: Criminal conviction. Jail time. And probably the most embarrassing police report of the decade.
The car didn’t even get to enjoy its brief moment of freedom. It just quietly rolled along like: “I’m not paid enough for this existential crisis.”
Moral of the story: If your plan to beat a DUI involves duct-taping gadgets to your steering wheel and hoping the car plays along… maybe just take an Uber. Or at least don’t post about it on WeChat.
Who else thinks the car should get a medal for snitching on its owner?
