Justine Saint Amour from Texas: “My Cybertruck was using Full Self-Driving… it saw the overpass ramp and went full ‘YOLO, let’s yeet!’ straight into a concrete barrier. I tried to take over but had about 0.3 seconds before we became modern art.”
Dashcam footage: Cybertruck casually ignores cones like they’re speed bumps at a music festival → accelerates up the ramp → meets Mr. Concrete Wall at high velocity → lawsuit filed.
Her claims in beautiful legalese:
- Tesla oversold FSD (“It’s not really ‘full’ if it yeets you into infrastructure”)
- Cameras-only vision is apparently not as good as LiDAR when deciding between “merge” and “demolish”
- Result: neck, back, wrist injuries + one very expensive “whoops” moment
Meanwhile Tesla fans in the replies: “Bro it’s still supervised, you were supposed to be the adult in the room 😭” “Cameras good enough for 99.9% of miles… unfortunately this was the 0.1% where concrete wins.”
Moral of the story: Even bulletproof exoskeleton trucks can’t win against physics + bad timing. But hey, at least the stainless steel probably looks fabulous with barrier marks.
Who else is now double-checking their FSD settings before every on-ramp?
