Dubai just deployed silent, self-driving beach-cleaning robots that work overnight like little eco-ninjas.

While you’re snoring, these electric bots armed with GPS and lidar are out there picking up cigarette butts, bottle caps, and that one sandal you lost in 2022.

Heavy diesel tractors? Banned. Noisy rakes at 6 AM waking seagulls (and hungover tourists)? Gone.

By sunrise, the beach is spotless, turtles are safe, and the only evidence anything happened is a suspiciously perfect sand surface.

Dubai’s message to the world: “We’ll turn the desert green, build islands shaped like palms, and now even our beaches get robotic butlers. Your move, rest of planet.”

Meanwhile in normal cities: beach cleanup still means volunteers with pokey sticks and a positive attitude.

Who else wants these robots for their bedroom floor? Asking for a friend with kids.
