Just took my Tesla Cybertruck on a 406-mile road trip—FSD nailed 95% of the driving! But one turn went wrong (thanks, Google Maps! 🙄).

Arrived at my in-laws, ready to charge up, but the Cybertruck said, “Nope!” to the 14-50 plug.

With less than 100 miles left and the nearest Supercharger in Charleston, SC, panic set in!

Turns out, the plug needed an 8-gauge wire, but it had a 10-gauge. Switched to a 110v outlet—1-2 miles per hour. Charging would take over 6 days! 🚶‍♂️

So now, I’m trapped at the in-laws until I figure this out. Need to be at 100% for the trek home on Saturday. YIKES!

A Cybertruck owner on a trip to his in-laws’ farm in West Virginia discovered a unique challenge: it would take 6 days for his Cybertruck to charge sufficiently to reach the nearest supercharger. John shared his awkward predicament with the Cybertruck Owners group.
